MASERATI 5000 GT
- A Significant Automobile
by Maurice Khawam
Published by The Mak Group 2002

An exciting new book just published. I have just received my copy after eagerly awaiting its release and it was well worth the wait.

5000 GT is a thoroughly well written and more importantly a well researched book containing many important and interesting new facts about this extraordinary motor car.

This book talks about the 450S sports racer, the progenitor of the 5000 GT, as well as the Tipo 151 that used the 5000 GT engine. Additionally, the book presents the link that exists between the 5000 GT and all the V8 powered models constructed by Maserati.

The hardbound book (with dust jacket) measures 25 cm x 27.5 cm, has 124 pages and contains 186 photographs (132 in colour and 54 in black and white).

The print run is limited to only 5000 copies worldwide (the number no doubt influenced by its subject matter!) and once these are sold I am sure the price as an 'out of print' book will increase.

Each book is numbered having a photograph of a '5000GT type chassis plate' with each book number stamped on it, a nice touch!
