Maserati at Salon Privé

For the third year running, Maserati GB exhibited its full range at Salon Privé, this year with two exciting collaborations for both gentlemen and lady clients.

On Wednesday, a selected group of gentlemen clients were treated to experience first hand the collaboration between Maserati and luxury shoe brand Berluti, by admiring the bespoke car shoes created for the occasion, personalised to match some of the colour combinations available within the Maserati range.

To celebrate this collaboration, a selection of Maserati accessories and original designs, is currently on display at the Berluti store, located at 43 Conduit Street, London.

On Thursday, Maserati GB hosted a very special event for their lady clients, who were joined by supermodel and Maserati ambassador Jodie Kidd as they attended Salon Privé Ladies’ Day at the Hurlingham Club.

The day started at the !QMS Medicosmetic Spa in Cadogan Gardens, London, where clients enjoyed a champagne breakfast and personalised mini treatments of their choice.

A fleet of Maserati GranCabrios, Quattroportes and GranTurismos were then on hand to chauffeur the ultra glamorous ladies to an exclusive lunch at the Club, where they were able to admire an amazing selection of classic cars, alongside the Maserati 2010 range: the Maserati GranCabrio, flanked by the GranTurismo S and the Quattroporte Sport GTS, took pride of place on the Supercar Lawn.

A History of Maserati with Adolfo Orsi - One of those very special event that shouldn't be missed !!

A (Very) Special Evening With Adolfo Orsi

The Riverside International Automotive Museum will be hosting an evening reception and banquet for Dott. Adolfo Orsi.

Dott. Orsi of Modena, Italy will be the guest of honor at the Riverside International Automotive Museum on Saturday evening, August 7. On that night the Museum will hold a reception and banquet for Dott. Orsi who is one of the foremost authorities on the history of Maserati Automobiles. Orsi's great passion for Maserati comes to him quite naturally as his family owned and ran Maserati from 1937 to 1968. During this extraordinary evening, Dott. Orsi will personally present the history of Maserati.

On display that night at the museum will be on of the foremost collections of Maserati production cars representing the full breadth of the marque's road going automobiles selected from the museum’s collection of over 25 Maseratis. The chance to be with Sig. Orsi among his family’s magnificent automotive creations is a exceedingly rare opportunity for enthusiasts.

Saturday August 7th: 6:00 pm Cocktails ... 7:00 pm Dinner

The cost for the reception and dinner is US $85 per person. RSVP is requested by August 2.

"Dear Enrico,

I hope that you are fine and enjoying the beginning of the summer.

Sunday 6th of June 2010 the Castle of Gavnoe on Seeland, Denmark, the Classic Autojumble no. 22 were held and due to very nice summer wether I participated in my Maserati Indy 4700 America, from 1971.

At the Autojumble there close to 1.000 different cars and vehicles, ranging from Trabant to old Opel's, Ford's of many types toTriumph's, MG's, Fiat's, Alfa's etc. Even tractors and Centurion tanks were there.

The exclusive part of the jumble had classic Rolls Royce's, Cobra's, Jaguar's, one Lamborghini Islero and a pearl that also visited the Villa d'Este this year; the Talbot Lago T26 GS.

I attach a few pictures of my Indy that shows the car in brilliant sunshine - hope you like the look.
